Apparently there is a brand new Web Standard now for making Browsers able to request Dark Mode Versions of Websites.
And since it is new, its not publicly supported by the Browsers yet in most cases.
But latest Firefox can already handle it with some about:config changes:
ui.systemUsesDarkTheme = 1 (may require you to actually make a new integer field)
browser.in-content.dark-mode = true
privacy.resistFingerprinting = false (Unsure if it’s a Firefox Bug or a Feature, but resisting Fingerprinting causes Dark Mode to fail, since requesting Dark Mode does help Sites with Fingerprinting)
While we are at it, here is some good security Advice for Browsers. ;)
If you like this Mod then please help fund further development at my Patreon Page or via the new and improved Paypal Buttons down there:
More detailed Information can be found here.
If you used Paypal and aren’t on the List within 24 hours, message me instantly to make sure that nothing messed up. ^^
I recommend you to tell me your MC-Username at donation/pledge, so I can add you to the corresponding Supporter List. Note though, that your MC-Username will be inside a publicly available List, if you decide to do so.
Just drop me a private Message on Patreon if you do it there. I usually don’t reply to the ones that just mention the MC-Username, but I always read them and add them to the List, usually within 24 hours tops.
If you go via Paypal, then there should be a field for a Comment, you can drop your MC-Username, and also a Message if you want, there.
Note, that telling me the MC-UUID doesn’t really work for multiple Reasons, the most important one of them being downwards compatibility with GT5. That’s why I prefer to only put MC-Usernames on the List.
Also MC Username does NOT mean your E-mail, please don’t enter your E-mail in that field.
If you rename yourself, then just tell me about the change and I will ofcourse fix that. ^^
The Online Supporter List works only if you can connect directly to this Link. There is an additional Supporter List inside the Mod itself, so that you have to update to have your Cape visible while offline. If you experience Problems with it, then check the Supporter List for your MC-Username. There is also a Special Supporter List for Patreon.
I added a "Supporter Certificate" Block as of 6.03.09, which is essentially a framed Piece of Paper showing that you Support me (if you are on the Supporter List). The Item itself is only Decorative, so you don’t get any Bonus from it. It will automatically be spawned into the Game once per Supporter and Server/World, when you rightclick a Block and have a free Spot in your Inventory. Note, that the Server needs to reboot in order to download the Supporter List, so that it knows that you are on the List. This usually happens when the Server you play on updates any Mods.
Recent MC Versions enable you to disable your Cape in the Options, this also works for the Supporter Capes.
Those Donations have absolutely nothing to do with Minecraft. Not even with GregTech. The Money is just going to myself and is only used to keep me alive. That you receive a Supporter Cape with this being installed is purely coincedential and has nothing to do with the property of Mojang or its subsidiaries, and neither Microsoft. I am not owner of any Minecraft Server that is available to anyone other than myself.
The presence of my Capes might not be permanent and can be removed in any future Version, if Mojang decides to extend the scope of the EULA to actually include serverunrelated Mods in the "Capes are not allowed" section, because it doesn’t as of the 23rd of June 2016. I don’t plan for it to happen, but it can happen anytime. If it ever happens, you all still have the Supporter Certificates. ;)
